Consider awarding bids received for IFB#14IFB00213, Medical Supplies for EMS to the low bids meeting specifications, complete list attached.

Background

It is the recommendation of the EMS Department to award this contract to the following bidders: Big Apple Bound Tree, Henry Schein, Life Assist, Midwest Medical, Southeastern Medical Equipment, Southern Safety Sales, Quadmed. Bid summary indicating primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary awards and bid tabulation with pricing are attached.The contract term will be April 8, 2014 through April 7, 2015.
