Please consider and approve a request from the District Attorney's Office to apply for a grant from the Attorney General's Office for a Victim Assistance Liaison for the DA's Office.

Background

The District Attorney's Office currently has one grant-funded position from the Attorney General's Office for a Victim Assistance Liaison. That position is currently filled by Megan Higginbotham. The current grant expires this Fall. We are requesting approval to apply for a newly posted grant position to continue the much needed work being done by the VA Liaison.
