Discuss and consider approving grant application for the County Attorney's Office through the Criminal Justice Division County Essentials Program of the Governor's office

Background

Due to the recent events in Kaufmann County, the Texas District and County Attorneys Association(TDCAA) sent out a letter to Counties making them aware of grants for prosecutor office security enhancement. Attached is the letter from TDCAA and documentation for the amount that the County Attorney's office is asking from the grant.
