Discuss and take appropriate action on the proposed FY13 Community Development Block Grant funding allocation.

Background

Williamson County anticipates being awarded approximately $1,107,839 in FY13 Community Development Block Grant funding. Funding from two projects that relinquished previous years funding, Georgetown Good Neighbor Fund Project and Georgetown Water/Wastewater Connections Project, will also be reallocated. The approximate total to be allocated to projects is $1,173,839. The County received 13 applications requesting $2,630,185. The recommended allocations are based on priorities set in the Williamson County Consolidated Plan.

Please note that the FY13 Action Plan will also contain descriptions and maximum funding amounts for alternate projects. These projects are listed but are not initially recommended for funding.
