Consider approving Change Order No. 8 in the amount of $182,875.44 for Ronald Reagan Blvd. North Phase III, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Three.

Background

This Change Order adds a 10 LF widening of the new pavement of Ronald Reagan Blvd at the intersections with RM 2338 and CR 245 (both north and south approaches).This will provide a left turn lane while maintaining 7 Ft wide shoulders. The addition of the left turn lane will increase the safety of the traveling public and the 7 Ft wide shoulders will promote safety for the bicyclists using the shoulders at these intersections.
