Consider and approve the first amendment to Engineering Services with Jose I. Guerra, Inc. for engineering services for the Williamson County Parking Garage Construction and the exemption of those services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services as set forth under Section 262.024(a) (4) of the Texas Local Government Code.

Background

This contract is an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement that was approved by the Court on February 14, 2012 to retrofit the parking garage across from the jail. The contract amount is not to exceed $788,729.
