Discuss and consider approving a line item transfer for the County Auditor's Office

Background

The Auditor's Office was tracking all county title and registration paperwork on several excel spreadsheets. Over time the amount of title and registration requests has increased. It was difficult to manage and maintain in excel. There is also new rules that require exempt plates to be replaced periodically not just unmarked and undercover vehicles. Last year, the Fleet Faster system was upgraded to enable us to enter the License Registration renewals by asset in the Fleet System. We have worked this year to update all of the information in the system as well as identify ways to run reports and manage the information. IT has assisted with this project. In order to run the reports and manage the information we will need access to Crystal Reports which requires the purchase of two licenses.
