Discuss and take appropriate action on Agreement Extension Addendum with Texas Health Institute for Texas Mental Health Transformation Initiative.

Background

The contract extension with the Texas Health Institute for participation in the Texas Mental Health Transformation Initiative will allow Williamson County to carry over funds that were unused during previous grant years. The amount of the carry over funding to the County will be $18,100.57 which will allow necessary changes to the mental health technology project known as Emerson. The ability to have electronic records allows MOT to provide better patient service, improves safety for emergency service providers, improves record keeping ability, all while decreasing the amount of time required of team members for paperwork.
