Review and consider approving a resolution proclaiming May 2010 as National Historic Preservation Month in Williamson County.

Background

"Old is the New Green" is the theme for National Preservation Month 2010, cosponsored by the Georgetown Main Street Program, Downtown Georgetown Association, Williamson Museum, Georgetown Heritage Society and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Attending Commissioners Court to discuss this resolution are Shelly Hargrove with the City of Georgetown, Mickie Ross and Lisa Worley with the Williamson Museum, Trisha Tallman with the Downtown Georgetown Association, Virginia Stubbs with the Georgetown Heritage Society and Connie Watson with the Georgetown Main Street Advisory Board.
