Discuss and consider passing a resolution in support of funding options for proposed improvements to the FM 1460 corridor.

Background

The City of Georgetown is requesting a resolution from the court in support of utilizing all available sources of funding, including pass-through finance and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (“ARRA”) Stimulus funding for improvements to be made to the FM 1460 corridor and asking that the Williamson County Commissioner’s Court work cooperatively with the City of Georgetown, City of Round Rock, and CAMPO to complete the proposed improvements to the entire FM 1460 corridor in a timely manner. The City of Georgetown will be submitting the application for the funds.
