Discuss and take appropriate action on the appointment of Commissioner Ron Morrison to the Central Texas Resource Conservation & Development Council.

Background

The Central Texas Resource Conservation & Development Council works to plan and carry out activities that make Central Texas counties a better place to live while protecting their natural resources in a way that will improve the area's economy, environment, and living standards. Most of the volunteer members are county officials from Bastrop, Bell, Caldwell, Coryell, Falls, Hays, Limestone, McLennan, Milam, Travis, and Williamson counties. At present there is no Williamson County official serving on the council; Judge Doerfler was a past member.
