Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval of Food Service Extension Agreement with Aramark Correctional Services LLC (#11WCAP108) to support operations of the Williamson County Jail Facilities, including but not limited to approval of three percent (3%) Consumer Price Index increase and authorize County Judge to sign all related documents for the contract period beginning April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016.

Background

This contract will be extended for the same terms and conditions as allowed per bid specifications but with an increase that is tied to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Unadjusted percent change for December 2014 which was publicized as 3.0%. It is our recommendation to extend this contract as bidding out at this time may likely result in a price increase for this commodity.
