Discuss and take action on approving Homeland Security grant project proposals and authorize the County Judge to sign the approved project worksheets for submittal to CAPCOG for consideration.

Background

Grant funding is sought annually to aid in operations and maintenance cost for equipment that supports local and regional response. A total of 7 projects are being submitted for funding considerations. Submission of a project does not ensure grant funding as all projects are scrutinized by the CAPCOG Homeland Security Task Force and ultimately approved by the CAPCOG Executive Committee.
