Discuss and take appropriate action on an Order for Disposition of Salvage or Surplus Property; to wit, a black walnut tree and remnants of slabs of marble that were used in the construction and reconstruction of the Historic Williamson County Courthouse, by donating such property to The Williamson Museum in accordance with Section 263.152(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code (the Order for Disposition sets forth the Commissioners Court findings and determinations that (1) undertaking to sell the property by competitive bid or auction would likely result in no bids or a bid price that is less than Williamson County’s expenses required for the bid process; (2) the donation serves a public purpose in that such items will be used for educational and historical purposes; and (3) The Williamson Museum will provide Williamson County with adequate consideration, such as relieving Williamson County of transportation or disposal expenses related to such property).
