Consider approving Change Order No. 8 in the amount of $22,741.26 for Chandler Road Phase IIIA, a Road Bond project in Precinct Four.

Background

This Change Order provides for balancing the overrun / underrun Contract quantities for the project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plan quantities. Also, as required by Item 585, this Change Order also adds a Contract item to adjust the amount of compensation to be paid to the Contractor in proportion to the ride quality of the final asphalt surface on the project as measured by an inertial profiler.
