Previously, only Purchase Orders were issued and invoices paid for small one time jobs. Facilities has requested a contract form to protect the county, which will be signed by small job service providers such as painters. There is a need to delegate authority to the County Judge to sign on behalf of the county to address Auditor concerns. Jobs that are above the $10,000 threshold will require separate agenda items, but thse small jobs will be run through the generic agenda item for payment of the bills. |
