Discuss and take appropriate action on Amendment #1 to the Armored Courier Service for Williamson County Contract [Request for Proposal Number: 13RFP00103] wherein Triple D Security, Inc. is requesting Williamson County’s consent of its assignment of said contract to Garda CL Southwest, Inc. and, further, Garda CL Southwest, Inc. is agreeing to be bound by and faithfully perform the armored courier services according to all specifications, terms, conditions and covenants set forth and contained in the Armored Courier Service for Williamson County Contract [Request for Proposal Number: 13RFP00103].

Background

The current service provider, Triple D Security, Inc., was acquired by Garda CL Southwest, Inc. Due to the acquisition, Triple D Security, Inc. seeks Williamson County’s consent of an assignment of the contract to Garda CL Southwest, Inc. pursuant to Section 2.2.6 of the Request for Proposal Number: 13RFP00103. The Amendment #1 provides for the County’s consent of the assignment and also provides for Garda CL Southwest, Inc.’s agreement to be bound by and faithfully perform the armored courier services according to all specifications, terms, conditions and covenants set forth and contained in the Armored Courier Service for Williamson County Contract [Request for Proposal Number: 13RFP00103]. The Armored Courier Service for Williamson County Contract consists of the specifications, terms, conditions and covenants set forth in the Request for Proposal Number: 13RFP00103 and Triple D Security’s Proposal.
