Discuss and take appropriate action on Contract Amendment 5 to the Inter-Governmental Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Williamson County (AKA Local Initiative Projects contract).

Background

Amendment 5 supercedes amendment 4 which was approved by Commissioners Court on 10/11/11. This new amendment confirms the Local Initiative Project grant program for the FY 2012 and FY 2013. Under this amendment TCEQ has decreased the grant obligation to Williamson County by to a total of $7688 for FY 12 and an identical amount for FY 13. The AirCheck Program office will administer the grant with assistance from the Auditor's office. This contract has been reviewed by counsel.
