Consider approving Change Order No. 4 in the amount of ($3,842.95) for O'Connor Drive Extension, a Road Bond Project in Precinct One.

Background

This Change Order provides for changes to the signals and roadway at the intersection of O’Connor Drive and RM 620 to match the future widening of RM 620. It aligns the O’Connor northbound lanes north and south of RM 620. Additionally, the Change Order utilizes temporary span wire signals instead of permanent signals that would have required relocation during the RM 620 project. The temporary signals are located to be compatible with the RM 620 Project. The permanent mast arm signal materials already acquired by the Contractor will be purchased by Williamson County and provided to the RM 620 Project. This Change Order also compensates the Contractor for changing the landscape paver pattern on O’Connor, north of RM 620, at the request of the Neighborhood Association.

This Change Order is a cost savings in the amount of ($3,842.95) and does not add or deduct any days from the Contract time.
