Discuss and consider approving a Contract Modification for Compensation of additional Professional Services with RVE Incorporated for landscape architectural services at the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park Water Play Area, now known as the Quarry Splash Pad.

Background

RVE Incorporated entered into a Professional Services Agreement for Landscape Architectural Design Services at the Quarry Splash Pad on June 3, 2009. The County requested additional work, and unforeseeable site conditions, additional coordination with architectural, structural, and geotechnical subcontractors, and insufficient contractor responses resulted in an extended construction schedule and additional construction administration services.
