Discuss and take appropriate action on JP 3 Truancy Program.

Background

Attached is a document that lays out the plan and budget to implement the Truancy Program at JP #3. Commissioners Court authorized the collection of this fee in September 2011 and at that time it was discussed that the implementation of the program would be brought back at a later date. Thru January 2012 JP 3 has collected $9,330.00 in fees. Judge Benton has worked with the Juvenile Department to implement and supervise the personnel for this program.
