45. Comments from Commissioners.
 

Judge Gattis commented that there was a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the County Courthouse yesterday with a presentation of a flag to the Court from the 49th Calvary Unit that recently returned from Iraq. The flag is hanging in the hall at the Courthouse.

Commissioner Birkman congratulated her Aunt and Uncle on their 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Commissioner Long reminded the Court that the Adopt a Troop program will have an event on April 3rd and reminded the Judge and Commissioners that they are contributing to this fund.

Commissioner Covey said she is working with her contact at Fort Hood to get a list of needed items to collect before they deploy.  She thanked Jim Rodgers, Gary Boyd and Terry Roberts for helping with the Walburg Community Center's Playscape Facility last Saturday.
