In order for Juvenile Services to participate in the National School Lunch Program, one of the Texas Department of Agriculture's requirements is to change the cycle of the contract to July 1 through June 30 to coincide with the school year. The current contract expires on March 31, 2010. The three (3) months extension is necessary to cover the period between contracts (April 01, 2010 through June 30, 2010). |
