Consider and approve accepting abandoned 2002 Ford F150 pick-up truck (VIN #1FTRX17W82NB12845) as Williamson County property.

Background

Proper procedures were followed to attempt to contact owner, with no success. Per the Texas Transportation Code, Title 7, Subtitle H, Chapter 683, ownership of this vehicle can be transferred to the County, in this case for use by the Sheriff's Office. This vehicle will be used by the Impound Manager to perform wrecker shop inspections, as required by law.
