Hear presentation and update from the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) and the Mobile Outreach Team (MOT) on mental health programs.

Background

Since the creation of the Sheriff's Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) in November of 2005 and the Mobile Outreach Team (MOT) in October of 2004, the CIT/MOT have been collecting data on their services and diversion savings. The statistics gathered by the teams demonstrate sources of calls; precinct calls originate from; gender and race; time and day of week of calls; results of calls; follow-ups provided; and diversions from jail and the savings accomplished.
