23. Discuss and take appropriate action on allowing the residents of Country View Estates to amend the subdivision's plat to allow the conversion of Will Smith Drive and Will Smith Circle, which were dedicated in the original plat but never accepted as public roads, into private easements that will be owned and maintained in perpetuity by the Homeowner's Association, and disclaiming any right, title, or interest that the County might have in ever adding these private roads to the county road system.

36. Comments from Commissioners.
 

Commissioner Birkman said she had received a copy of a letter from State Representative Dan Gattis in regards to a bill for Local Option Transportation Funding.

Judge Gattis said there are several bills up for legislation that effect Williamson County that need to be put on the agenda for consideration next week.

Commissioner Covey said she and Judge Gattis and Commissioner Birkman attended a luncheon last Friday with the Killeen Chamber of Commerce where Congressman Carter was honored.  Austin District Engineer of TxDOT, Bob Daigh spoke in regards to the Highway 195 project.

Judge Gattis stated that after the luncheon, it was discussed to have another meeting in Salado at the Stagecoach Inn at a time that will be posted.
