Attached documents represent a price request received October 2008 for 12 foot galvanized 2 3/8" OD posts. Per bid contract 09WCA028, the vendor is required to hold contract price for three (3) months from renewal date. Due to the decrease in the Producer Price Index for rolled steel, SafeLane requested a price reduction from distributor and was denied. SafeLane submitted his supplier's pricing but has requested the County to keep this information confidential. I have reviewed the pricing and can verify that SafeLane's request is acceptable. The projected increase in cost to the County is $1,820.00. |
