Discuss and take appropriate action regarding appointing Randolph N. Marshall as Assistant County Veterans Service Officer

Background

The sunset commission made suggestions to Texas Veterans Commission that veteran service officers serving the different counties in Texas should be recognized as Assistant County Veterans Service Officers. Texas Veterans Commission adopted this change. Randolph N. (Randy) Marshall, an employee of Williamson County Veteran Services, is certified and Nationally accredited with Texas Veterans Commission, and has licensure to practice veterans law if front of the court for veterans claims. This request is nothing more than a name change to the appropriate job title. There will not be an economic impact on the budget.
