Discuss and consider approving the addition of one slot or position to MOT as well as converting one current 30 hour per week slot to 40 hours per week or full time

Background

As several of you are already aware, MOT has had a 180% increase in call volume primarily during the night time hours. In order to continue uninterrupted service, they are requesting two additional staff as well as to increase a current clerical staffer from 30 hours per week to full time or 40 hours per week. The funding for ONE of the requested additional slots as well as the increase in hours for a current slot (from 30 to 40 hours per week) would both come from the Emergency Services Department from a currently "unfilled" or "vacant" clerical slot belonging to John Sneed.
