Background

These monies are to pay for the purchase of the hardware for the "R U OK" system at the Sheriff's Office. The current system is completely broken, antiquated and unable to be repaired. The contract for this system was approved by the Commissioner's Court on January 22nd (item #25). These monies will pay for the replacement system allowing periodic telephone calls to the elderly, etc., ensuring they are "ok".
