Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing Williamson County Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive proposals for School Nutrition Programs - Food Services Management Company RFP#15RFP119 for Williamson County Juvenile Services.

Background

The Williamson County Juvenile Services Board has approved a request for proposals for School Nutrition Programs - Food Services Management Company RFP#15RFP119. This RFQ process will be, on the approval of the Commissioners Court, conducted by the Williamson County Purchasing Department for Williamson County Juvenile Services. The RFP and contract have been reviewed by the Williamson County Attorney’s Office as attorney for the Williamson County Juvenile Services and the contract will be executed between the successful respondent and the Williamson County Juvenile Services. The Williamson County Juvenile Services Board will award and execute any ensuing contract as the governing body of Williamson County Juvenile Services and Williamson County will not be a party to the contract and, thus, no approval of the contract will be required by the Williamson County Commissioners Court.
