Discuss and take appropriate action on approving Professional Services Agreement between Voelter Associates, Inc. and Williamson County, Texas for professional Architectural services, and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for professional services, as set forth under Section 262.024(a) (4) of the Texas Local Government Code.

Background

This project consists of having the architect provide a specification for the replacement of 55 lintels of varying lenghts for the County Jail and 33 lintels of varying lengths for the Justice Center. This specification will allow Williamson County to receive bids and it will be used during the construction phase.
