BE IT REMEMBERED that at 2:03 P.M. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2013, a SPECIAL SESSION of the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

REGULAR AGENDA
             
1. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding interviewing candidates for appointment to Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 for the remainder of the term ending on December 31, 2014 which has been vacated by retiring Justice of the Peace Pct. 3.
  Public Information Officer Connie Watson addressed the Court and announced the results of the drawing to establish the order the applicants would be interviewed as follows:
  1. Mike Loney
  2. Kevin Stofle
  3. Tina Graves
  4. Brad Watson
  5. Kathleen VanFleet
  6. John VanFleet
  7. Bill Gravell
  8. Wayne Porter
  9. Dennis Jaroszewski
             
COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECESSED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 2:09 P.M. ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2013.
             
2. Interview candidates for JP3 pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074(a)(1) personnel matters. (to deliberate the appointment and evaluation of a public officer.)
  No action was taken in Executive Session.
             
COMMISSIONERS’ COURT RECONVENED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 5:08 P.M. ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2013.
             
3. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding appointment of JP3 to remainder of term ending on December 31, 2014.
  Public Information Officer Connie Watson and First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley addressed the Court.
  Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey 
  Second by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Lisa Birkman 
Motion: To approve the following list of candidates, based on the point tally, to return for a more extensive interview at a date and time to be determined: Kevin Stofle, Bill Gravell, and Wayne Porter.
