Consider and take appropriate action on CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (TCEQ) AND WILLIAMSON COUNTY on Contract 582-9-90416-04.

Background

This is the third action on contract amendments under the Low Income Vehicle Repair Assistance, Retrofit and Accelerated Vehicle Retirement Program (LIRAP) also known as AirCheck Texas and the Drive a Clean Machine Program.

The first action (7/26/11) allowed for carryover funds for the 2011 FY. The second action (12/20/11) was approval and acceptance of 2012 FY funds and to incorporate administrative changes approved by the legislature for 2012. Those changes included mileage limitations on replacement vehicles and other technical changes.

This action is to update the 2011 contract to conform to the 2012 contract rules.
