Discuss and considering approving Change Order No. 7 in the amount of $56,647.61 for US 183, a Pass Through Financing Project in Precinct Two.

Background

This change order provides payment to reimburse the contractor for costs associated with addressing unanticipated soil conditions in Parcel 1. The work items included consturction of a French drain, over-excavating the area and replacing the upper layer of high plasticity materials with low plasticity materials directly under the pavement section, and pumping water from the over-excavation of saturated clays until the French drain was in service.
