Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, and Wire Transfers submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the County.
  Auditor Donna McKitrick addressed the Court.

  Second By: Commissioner Precinct 4 Ron Morrison Motion: To authorize the payment of bills totaling $34,411,968.41 from computer printout, Addendum, Wire Transfer, Quick Check Report from the proper line items, if found by the County Auditor to be legal expenses as appropriated in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 County budgets. 

Commissioner Birkman abstained in regards to invoice for Gabriels Funeral Chapel. (Conflict of Interest Affidavit attached)

  Jim Dillon of Liberty Hill, Kenneth Koym of Austin, Antonio Diaz of San Antonio, Rhett Smith of the Free the Children Coalition, Sandra Batlouni from the Autism Society of Greater Austin, Director of Waste Management Steve Jacobs, and Janet Fisher of the Children's Support Coalition addressed the Court.

CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda includes routine items that the Court may act on with one single vote. The Judge or a Commissioner may pull any item from the Consent Agenda in order that the Court discuss and act upon it individually as part of the Regular Agenda.

5. Consider approving a line item transfer for the Sheriff's Office.
  Auditor Donna McKitrick addressed the Court.
             
6. Consider approving a line item transfer for the Human Resource Department.

8. Debt Service Budget for Limited Tax Road Bonds, Series 2007: budgeted amounts were estimated based on First Southwest's prior-to-sale reports.  Actual schedules after final sale resulted in dollars moving from interest to principal.

9. Consideration to approve the appointment of Frank Alvarado as Reserve Deputy Constable Precinct 4 to replace the vacancy left by Cary Decuir.
             
10. Acknowledge receipt of 2007 Racial Profiling Report in compliance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedures (CCP) 2.133 and 2.134.

28. Comments from Commissioners.
  Commissioner Covey commented that on Wednesday at the 9th Grade Center in Georgetown an assembly was held with the Combat Aviation Brigade from Ft. Hood.  

Commissioner Long reminded the Court about the CAMPO Hearing on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Round Rock Library at 216 East Main Street in Round Rock.

Commissioner Birkman congratulated the North Austin MUD in her precinct for ground breaking last night for the new Community Center, which will be completed in May or June.  The Center will make space available for voting and will allow a substation for the Sheriff's Office.

Judge Gattis reminded the Court to be sure to vote on their way out. He noted that early voting will close on Friday and the Primary Election Day will be next Tuesday.
