Consideration to approve the appointment of Frank Alvarado as Reserve Deputy Constable Precinct Four to replace the vacancy left by Cary Decuir.
Background
This submition of Frank Alvarado for reserve deputy constable is to fill a vacancy left open by the departure of Cary Decuir. Mr. Decuir left our employment take an paid assignment to work as an investigator for the Texas Lottery Commission. Mr. Alvarado who resides on Morning Dove in Hutto worked for the City of Taylor as a part time officer, and reserve with Round Rock PD and most recent part time employment with Austin Community College. Mr. Alvarado has an advanced peace officer license, and over 18 years of service. Mr. Alvarado's fulltime employer is Oncor (previously TXU electric) ,and has worked for them  since 1973 to date. He is a very hard worker, and gives more than 100%. Mr. Alvarado is also bi-lingual, and is a very likable person. Several of our deputies have worked closely with him in the past and are excited to know he maybe coming to work with us.
