To declare and emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approving a budget amendment for the EOC

Background

Funds to cover the radio equipment, engineering of and installation of for the EOC mobile dispatch trailer were included in the 06-07 budget. This trailer, due to circumstances beyond the County's control, was not delivered until FY 08 and, therefore, needs to be paid for our of 07-08 funds. This budget amendment will provide funding to pay Motorola the balance of their invoice.
