Consider approving request to issue a call for projects that will utilize the allocated FY08 CDBG funding amount of $1,096,136.

Background

Williamson County was awarded CDBG funds in the amount of $1,096,136 for FY08. The County is to use these funds to support projects in low to moderate income areas of the County and/or support programs that assist low to moderate income residents of the County. The attached application packet will be made available to the cities that participate in the CDBG program and to other entities that might have an applicable project.
