Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on funding two additional $150.00 Tax Assessor Collector cash tills for the collection of registrations and titles by Motor Vehicle personnel.
Background
Two new personnel positions were approved for the Motor Vehicle Department in the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget to process motor vehicle registrations and titles. Each Tax Assessor Collector employee has a cash till to maintain for cash transactions for their job responsibilities. Currently, each employee's cash till contains $150.00 to allow motor vehicle personnel to complete customers' motor vehicle transactions.
