Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding bids received for Fuel for Williamson County, Bid# 1510-018 to the lowest and best bidder –Texas Enterprises Inc.

Background

Five bids were received for this IFB. It is the recommendation to award this contract to Texas Enterprises Inc.

I have determined that Texas Enterprises Inc is the low bidder for delivery of fuel to our fueling sites. However Mansfield Oil Con is the low bidder for the emergency generator fuel delivery portion of the bid.

Since this bid is awarded as a complete package, and in light of the fact that generator refueling is a small portion of the total contract, it is my determination that the bid should be awarded to Texas Enterprises Inc.
