Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Service Agreement between Williamson County I.T. Department and Gartner, Inc. for research and advisory services, and execute Appendix D to the DIR Contract (DIR-TSO-2531) between Williamson County and Gartner, Inc.
Background
Jay Schade, Senior Director of Technology Services is recommending Gartner for this service as they are the leading IT research and advisory company in the world. The membership with Gartner includes access to their research and analysts, as well as a number of other services, including contract review and RFP assistance, since the County will be working on several very large projects this year.
