Discuss, consider and take appriopriate action regarding posed contract with Stanley Convergent, including but not limited to exempting Stanley Convergent from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of software, support and hardware for the Basis Security Management System.
Background
Stanley Convergent Security Solutions provides Williamson County with the Basis Security Management System which controls our county wide access control system as well as some integrated video at the EOC building.   Stanley Convergent is the sole provider for this system, which includes the hardware products, software maintenance and factory authorized services.
