Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on exempting SYN-TECH/FUELMASTER from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of the fuel system management software and hardware used to track and dispense fuel to county vehicles.

Background

SYN-TECH/ FUELMASTER is the provider of the fuel system management software and hardware that is used to track and dispense fuel to county vehicles. The system was purchased in 2009 and has been in service continuously since that time.
