Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on acknowledging Kenny Schnell, as the DSHS Texas EMS Administrator of the Year, Jeff Jarvis MD, as the DSHS Texas EMS Medical Director of the Year and Round Rock Fire Department, as the DSHS Texas First Responder Organization of the Year.
Background
At the Texas Department of State Health Services annual EMS Conference in Fort Worth on 11-25-14, Williamson County EMS received two statewide awards.  Each award honors a person or organization that exemplifies the best that EMS has to offer.  Kenny Schnell, was named the Texas EMS Administrator of the Year.  Jeff Jarvis, MD, was named Texas EMS Medical Director of the Year.  Additionaly the City of Round Rock Fire Department was named the Texas First Responer Organization of the year.  It was a great day for Williamson County!
