Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on making an exception to Section 3.03 (Bi-weekly Pay) of the Williamson County Policy Manual, for the payroll scheduled over the Christmas holidays.

Background

Section 3.03 of the Williamson County Policy Manual includes the following language regarding paydays that fall on a holiday: “Payday is the last working day prior to any holiday that falls on a Friday.” Due to the scheduling of the Christmas holidays, the last payday of the year needs to be move from the last working day before the holiday, Tuesday, December 23rd, to Wednesday, December 24th, in order to complete all payroll processes.
