Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive qualifications for Professional Architectural/Engineering Services for Improvements to Portions of Brushy Creek Regional Trail and Champion Park Phase II Development, RFQ #15RFQ105.

Background

The project involves preparation of design and construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, development of bidding and contract documents and construction management. The following components will be included, but not limited to:
Trail drainage improvements,
Embankments stabilization,
Trail surface (decomposed granite gravel) re-grading and stabilization,
Additional retaining walls construction,
Retaining wall systems improvements,
Additional parking,
Additional pavilion(s),
Additional shade structures,
Improvements to shade structures
Play Areas improvements/additions
Re-purposing splash pad operations
