Discuss and take appropriate action regarding possible improvements to the foster care system in Williamson County and hear update on the Foster Care Task Force findings on the issue.
Background
Commissioner Birkman, County Attorney Dee Hobbs, Judge Betsy Lambeth, State Representative Tony Dale and State Representative Larry Gonzales have met with various stakeholders throughout the county for the past three months to discuss possible improvements, both locally and statewide, to the foster care system. See the attached findings that are a result of the meetings.
