Discuss and take action on the application submittal for the FY14 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG), to authorize the County Judge and Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) to sign associated grant applications, and allow the EMC to submit the grant documentation to the Texas Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency of Emergency Management.
Background
Each year the Office of Emergency Management applies for federal funding through the EMPG program to assist with allowable expenses. The grant may match up to a maximum of 50%.
