Discuss and take appropriate action on a Lease Renewal between Carquest Auto Parts (Straus Frank Enterprises, LLC) and Williamson County regarding the property located at 909 Austin Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
Background
The Lease dated June 1, 2006 and later amended provides Carquest with the ability to extend and renew the lease for an additional two years (2014 - 2016). The current rent is $5,500 and will increase to $5,744.20. These rental amounts were set by agreement in 2011. This is the last extension option allowed under the Lease and new procurement process is planned to be conducted in early summer of 2014.
